Close your eyes and jump

Life is new every day if you allow it to be. Most of the time fear won’t let us look at the new, endless, ever changing possibilities that are presented to all of us each and every day.

Ten months ago I quit my ‘job’. The job being half owner of a business my husband and I have owned and operated for 30 years. It has paid our bills, put a roof over our heads, and provided for our family. It just didn’t make me happy, and didn’t provide the opportunities to be who I really wanted to be.

After quitting, my husband asked, “What are you going to do now?” and the answer to that was I had NO idea. So I started looking. And searching. And rooting in every nook and cranny of interest. Most times the answer was easy. Just take a job, any job. Finding your passion, your soul purpose was way too hard. This was not what I had signed up for.

I began my journey by taking classes, lots of classes. Still want to take more classes, there is SO much to learn. SO many possibilities. But I think that all my searching and learning has led me here to this point. I am happy and know now that all your ducks don’t have to be in a row. You don’t have to know everything and have all the answers to every question. You will be wrong. You will make mistakes. You will meet amazing people and have amazing gifts and opportunities appear as if by magic (It’s not magic, you manifested those amazing people, gifts, and opportunities).

Trust and believe in yourself. Close your eyes, jump, and build your wings on the way down. It’s exhilarating, terrifying, and the best decision you will ever make. What have you always wanted to do? To be? To see? Know that it is all possible. All you have to do is take the leap.
